I would love to own my own hair and beauty salon one day and would love to study at college ona beauty course but i dont want other people 'experimenting' on me as such, i know that i would be doing that to future customers but they would come along expecting that. if u know what i mean! Is there a type of beauty course that i could take that wouldn't involve waxing etc? I am 16.

Concentrate on hair if you don't want to do waxing. You can also do manicures and pedicures (waxing is not normal for a beauty salon anyway).

You might be able to become a trainee with a local hairdresser. Or, if you have a little extra money, you can train with Vidaal Sassoon or Tony and Guy.

If you're in the UK, contact LearnDirect and they'll be able to give you a list of certified beauty courses in your area.
