I am running Zone Alarm and it's Antivirus program on my computer but the antivirus is slowing my pc down. It takes an eternity for my PC to boot up properly. Is there a good alternative that can get around this. Thanks.

THIS IS A VERY GOOD ANTI VIRUS PROGRAM AND AS ITS NAME STATES, IT IS FREE. IT HAS BEEN RECOMMENDED ABOVE THE NORTON AND MACAFE spelling?

The Zone-Alarm anti-virus that you are using is generaly considered a resource hog. In my years of computing one of the best and fastest antivirus is NOD32 you can download a trial version at www.eset.com. Also you may have too many programs running at startup. Good luck

It may not be the program. It could be a lot of programs starting up a once.
