I'm black and i'll definitely agree that hip-hop is destroying the morals of America, little by little. They glorify drug use, drug trafficking, disrespect of the law, promiscuity, degredation of women, objectification of women, murder and jail. They are just leading the kids straight into the penitentiary, one record at a time.
The kids emulate these losers and think that if they sell drugs and go to jail, they can be rappers when they get out because that's what these idiots are preaching. I think the public needs to hold these lowlifes accountable for their words.
There's a parental advisory sticker for a reason, but these retard parents are buying the damn cds for their kids so there the problem begins.
I'm just sick of it all.

As a teacher of high school students, I see daily how hip hop music has affected my students' lives. They are constantly singing these songs. I think though that it not only affects the women and how they are treated by men but..women have changed because of the music as well. Some women are more inclined now to wear smaller outfits and dance in more provocative ways. Some women think that it is ok for men to treat them in a bad way so therefore women are just as guilty as the men.
However, as a society we should be smarter than we are and we should educate our children on what is right and what is wrong. At the end of the day, the music is selling and hip hop artists are making money. As long as there is a demand, they will supply!! So..there really is nothing we can do about it other than educate our youth.

Mature, intelligent adults are not influenced in their behavior by the music they listen to. Children, however, are impressionable, no matter what color they are, and no matter what music they listen to. A child that listens to music which glorifies base or criminal behavior is not necessarily influenced by it, especially if the value and moral influences at home counteract them. If there is no superior influence at home, it is possible for children to accept the standards that they hear and see as acceptable.
I listened to "bad" rock music when I was a kid, but the lessons I learned from my upbringing influenced my standards more than music or television ever could. In short, I was taught the difference between real values and entertainment values. If children aren't taught the difference, they will incorporate those that are most pleasing to them, and those that afford them the greatest amount of acceptance. They choose their own heros and role models, if none are provided for them.

I pay attention to each sort of track. and that i recommend that heavily. I extremely have track from basically approximately each and every us of a/lifestyle of the international as nicely to American pop, jazz (classic and "comfortable"), hip hop, C&W, R&B, rock/metallic, etc. besides the shown fact that I extremely have heard the gamut of the musical international and there are some factors to evaluate: a million. lots of the emcees insulting females are no longer "gangsters" or criminals. 2. Hip hop isn't MY in effortless terms refutation to adult men and as we talk's track. huge form one, maximum romantic track is by utilising females and females by utilising and massive purchase maximum romantic track. So basically because of the fact they are no longer asserting "i like Jim Lee" by utilising call would not recommend that there are not songs that are approximately love from females. 3. i ought to honestly argue that each and every time somebody needs to make a controversy that track is "against adult men" they consistently p.c.. out songs by utilising purple, Beyonce, and nicely, perhaps Ani Difranco or Liz Phair or somebody. comparable persons each and all of the time. 4. asserting females are "h*es" isn't the comparable ingredient as "do no longer disrespect me or you would be thrown out"....what I recommend is that the undesirable songs adult men make are many times basically blanket statements and those females make are approximately particular movements. 5. I DO pay attention what you adult men are asserting...that females have taken a diverse tack in relationships. besides the shown fact that it extremely is going the two techniques. adult men are no longer virtually as romantic and respectful as they have been in the previous and in turn females might nicely be harder of their reaction to this. Or it ought to be argued that females being diverse made adult men diverse. i've got not got time for rooster/egg arguments, yet fairly i prefer to get to the healing. that's basically too wasteful to circulate into WHY adult women and men are no longer as respectful to a minimum of one yet another as all of us ought to be. we ought to consistently concentration on being respectful and supply up telling one yet another how sleazy we are or how we ought to be thrown out and the thank you to be extra loving.
