TAKE A TEST!!!! Take it when your period is a couple days late or buy an early pregnancy test that you can take a couple days before you miss your period.

If you can confirm ovulation, a missed period would likely be caused by pregnancy (though there is the rare possiblity of a corpus luteum cyst too).

A missed period can be caused by a delayed ovulation or not having ovulated. In the first case, you might still be pregnant, but it would be too early to test. In the second case, you wouldn't be pregnant b/c you wouldn't have ovulated yet.

If you've missed your period and do not know when or if you've ovulated, you can take a home pregnancy test anyway. If it's negative and you still don't have a period, you can test again a few days later.

when i found out that i was pregnant i was having really bad mood swings and was peeing a lot. my monthly wasnt regular so i didnt know if i had skipped a period. i went to walgreens and got a clearblue digital pregnany test and it said pregnant. they cost about $15 and usually come with 2 or 3 tests. the digital tests are easy to read and are really accurate. the tests that arent digital are really hard to read and usually dont work that well. you can find the clearblue tests at any department store or drug store. at walmart they can be a little cheaper then at drug stores. try that and good luck. people always say it will change your life but as long as you are financially and mentally ready it will be a good change.

Think back at what you've done in the past 2 months. Then if in doubt take a test. Duh.
