Yes, however its not due to their own will, they have obviously had bad teaching, parenting n not to mention that the govt is controlling just about everything. As parents we can barely touch our kids w/o social services, or other groups saying what we can or cannot do. My dad used to always say my generation will not do better than his, I disagree this current generation will be the one that wont do jack n thats sad.

I definitely don't think it's the first time a kid has done that. And I don't just mean in recent years. My father's told me some waaaayyyy messed up things he use to do as a kid. I don't think today's kids are out of control. I think today's parents aren't controlling enough.

Today's children are the result of bad parenting, a disfunctional society, and an uncaring government. Young people seem to have a feeling of hopelessness.

Doesn't surprise me at all. Today kids will try just about anything. I'm curious though were the parents held responsible as well?

most of the problems and good things should be put back on the parents. i'd say parents are more out of control then their kids. no one wants to parent anymore, get the kids out of their site so they can do their own thing.

There are no serious consequences for actions when it comes to kids, so they do what they want and KNOW they will get away with it. Until the consequences are made more serious, kids will carry on the way they do....it's human nature: if I can get away with it, I will do it.
