Most of the trans I have witnessed locally, or on television & movies are African American. Why?

Maybe it's a regional thing wherever you are. Where I live (Canada) I see nearly all caucasian TS's with the rare Asian, and I can't remember ever seeing a black one.

I think you are seeing what you want to see.
All the transexuals I know are Whites or Asians, none are African American.
Living in SF means I probably see more Trans folk than most people, and I see very few African American trans folk.

LOL!! Are u kiddin me??? You must be. Because for every 1 black transexual, there are 8 white transexuals! Your question doesnt even remotely sound right! The black community in general are still far less advanced in coming to terms with being openly gay....so how on earth are there more black trannys??

There are 2 possible answers to this. Either you see a lot more black transsexuals because typically blacks are more likely to accept money for posing in pictures or acting in porn, simply because they are less likely to have a good job and steady income (thanks to Whitey), or there are actually more out there because Blacks, in America at least, tend to suffer from a sense of displacement, anyway. They are black in a white-dominated country, and therefore are told that to be accepted they must be more white in behavior and appearance, even in their own communities. So gender "confusion" as some call it might go hand-in-hand with their own identity crises as blacks.
Then again I could be pulling all this outta my butt.

LOOK DUDE that's just stoopid. I only see tranys once a year at gay pride and very rarely see an African American there that is. Face it, you are fishing for a dude like that, aren't you?

I lived in cali for a long time and I only saw White TS ever. I live in Atlanta now and I've only come across 1 Black Tranny.

i dont know about there being so many but i do know that the ones ive seen have been disproportionately ugly.
I mean, how bad could it have been to stay a guy if ur gonna be thaaaat ugly as a woman - eewww

must be some regional thing where you are. i don't know the numbers but if you ever watch maurry when he has his "Man or Woman" shows on the transwomen are almost always white.
