The same reasons Bill Clinton had dozens of attorneys fired thought his administration without cause, except to make political headway. This is nothing new, it has always happened and always will- Political corruption isn't a Republican or Democrat issue. Please, find another question to hate our great president, George W. Bush.

He is part of the administration of "MISTRUST"!!!!
It took pulling his teeth to confirm that they, the justice department, violated the rights of all us citizens by unlawful wiretaps. We then find out about the firing of eight US Attorneys who refused to play politics right before the 06 elections. This entire administration should be tried for "crimes against humanity".
