How can I act on EastEnders?
Step 1 - Get an agent
Most professional shows only consider actors who are represented by an agent. They should be active in promoting your interests and talents, and offer you any necessary guidance.
Get hold of a copy of the book called Contacts
It's published by The Spotlight. It will provide you with information on reputable agencies and drama schools. It can be ordered from most major bookshops and is updated every year.
Also, check out these sources of information
The Stage newspaper, Stagecoach Part Time Theatre Arts School, Amdram, Official London Theatre Guide and Equity
Step 2 - Practice your acting skills
Full time drama schools teach performing arts to a professional level as well as academic subjects to GCSE. Part time drama schools offer classes in the evenings, weekends and holidays. Find out more on the Stage Register website.
Alternatively, you could join an amateur dramatics group
These include youth and community theatres, amateur dramatics and school drama clubs.
Step 3 - Get an audition for a show
Check your local paper and theatre regularly for any shows that might be coming up. Also check The Stage for audition dates.
Auditions for EastEnders are strictly by invitation only
The casting team have an extensive knowledge of actors. They build on that knowledge by visiting drama school shows and theatre productions. Another great reason to get yourself down to your local theatre or drama group!
Step 4 - Get the part!
The most important thing to remember is that if you don't succeed at first, try and try again. It's an extremely competitive field and rejection comes with the territory. Don't let it get you down. Read some tips from the stars to inspire you to success...
Hope i helped
Danny :)

Well, you cannot even appear on Eastenders as an extra! Not until you have had some acting tuition that is. The BBC get lots of requests from people to do this and they have lots of info about the subject on their website.
