And do you think he should get into the Hall of Fame? I've gone back and forth on this issue.

I think Pete will say anything right now to get back in baseball. He broke the cardinal rule by betting on baseball and he was a player manager....no he shouldn't get in the HOF and my reason is he took advantage of his situation. Very few has ever been a player manager so that should be held to the utmost respect. The HOF wasn't that important to him when he was betting on his team.

Pete Rose is nothing more than dust in the wind! It's time people drop this subject and move on to more important subjects. Pete Rose has burned his last bridge with baseball and will NEVER be inducted into Cooperstown. And rightfully so! He broke the cardinal sin of baseball and kept breaking it over and over again.

I met Pete Rose years ago and I have to tell you that he was about as unpleasant a person as you could met. Full of himself and very disrespectful to others. He is now getting what he deserves.

I believe he did bet on the Reds every night. Now what I don't believe is that he bet for them to win every night. That's bs. I think he should be put into the hall of fame. Time heals all wounds. But MLB is being so tough on one of the greatest to prove that it doesn't matter who you are you will be dealt with harshly.

With his past, it's hard to believe anything, but this sounds more plausible than "I never bet."

Either way, I've always believed he should be in the Hall, just banned from baseball operations in any capacity. Let him be an ambassador... he can't fix anything that way.

Cobb's in, he was a huge BUTT. Ted Williams? He used to spit on fans! Pete never hurt the fans, just Bart Giamatti' feelings.

He should be in. He is the all time leader in hits. Other Hall of Famers have done worse things than Rose. Pitchers that have doctored baseballs have made it in. So, why not Rose?

I believe it and I don't see why he shouldn't end up in the Hall. I mean, I don't personally believe he should, but the Hall is full of drug-heads and guys who break the law. So, following that precedent, why not add one more?

Betting on any team to win EVERY night just doesn't make sense. Bettors play the odds.
