I'm from Manchester, but support a midlands team. But I like to see both Manc clubs do well. It's a real shame what's happened at City and I'm not sure why it has happened.
One thing that I do know is that Stuart Pearce has been a winner his whole career as a player and has very little experience of the kind of situation that he is in at the moment. But he is a scrapper and I just feel that City will grind out enough results to stay up.
They have three of the most committed players in the Premiership in Barton, Richards and Dunne and it just needs the rest of the squad to show the right levels of committment.
It would also help if some of the City fans got behind the team for 90 minutes and not just the first half-hour.

Pearce is a good motivator and gaining in experience all the time. He has done well with little money to spend and I suspect not many managers would relish going to City with their record of firing managers. Forget Jewell, he's happy at Wigan and City would only want a top class proven manager and they are few on the ground.
Pearce is also a winner so I expect to see some of the foreign brigade at city being shown the door soon due to lack of bottle when its been needed.

I don't think City can get better than Pearce at the moment. However I think his inexperience has cost them in the transfer market, as the likes of Corradi, Samaras, Isaksson could have been McCarthy, Kanu and Niemi.
If they do sack Pearce they should go for a manager with proven class not the likes of David O'Leary or Peter Reid.

I think Stuart Pierce is detined to manage England at the highest level-Every manager has to start somewhere is being Man City-What a good job done under the circumstances.they get rid of managers to quick at city -Iknow the fans dont like being outdone by there neighbours, but when you look at it realistictly Man united wouldnt be where thy are if they had sacked fergie early on.If they did get rid if him i would say sam alladice
