My speedo doesnt stop going when i park up or stop at lights it even adds milage to the counter, it doesnt show the correct speed when moving, works fine when i first start the vehicle but when i hit a gradiant or speedbump it kicks off, does anyone know what the problem is?

If I remember right it should have a sensor that could be acting up. You'll have to get it tested to be sure . . . any dealer should be able to do this, other than that, depending on the year of the car, it could be a problem with the computer system. In that case you'll have to have diagnostics ran on it. This could be spendy. Take it to a dealer and have the run tests.

That could really only be the wheel speed sensor, though I've never heard of one going out that crazily.
At an extremely distant second possibility, it could be your ECU (computer).
