You're most fertile when you ovulate, which happens, for most people, between about ten and sixteen days before you menstruate. Vaginapagina has lot more information about your cycle.

You are actually most fertile around ovulation which does not occur right after your period. If your cycle is a regular 28 days, you will usually ovulate around 2 weeks in. Of course, you can get pregnant any time of the month, so you should use protection all the time unless you're trying to conceive!
For more information about your cycle and the best time to achieve pregnancy or avoid it, you should read "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler. It's got all the information you could possibly want plus some!

Usually your cycle is two weeks after getting your period. If your period is pretty normal. But you can get pregnant at any time depending on when you ovulate. I got pregnant exactly 2 weeks to the day away from my period ending.

it really depends, each person is different, people accidently get pregnant all the time, and mainly because they wwasnt trying, or wasnt sressing over it, but sometimes more you think about pregnancy, the more stress you add, and the harder it gets, but it is usually 14 days after the first day of your period, but thats for a cycle of 28 days, You add a day if your cycle is high but you gotta count each day so say yeah or if your lower than 28 days you have to - days. but Good luck.

I think it depends on the person, but I got pg having sex the day after my period ended. So, for me, yes it is true. I told my friend who was trying to get pg to try it right after her period and she got pg too.
