I dont think it is white spot as i have already treated the tank for whitespot as one of my other fish(Serpea Tetra) had the same then died. It is like a white growth what seems to eat away at the fish until it dies. I have a 20gallon setup. I do water changes every fortnight. I use stress zyme weekly. Does anyone have any idea what it could be and how to treat it PLEASE!

Sounds like one of two things to me, columnaris or a similar bacterial infection or a case of hole in the head disease.

For a bacterial infection, treat the tank with Furanace or Maracyn 2 as directed on the package but treat for a full 10 days, not the shorter time they often recommend. It's important to treat longer to prevent a relapse. Remove the carbon from the filter for this or any other treatment as it will remove medication from the water. Also be aware that treating with an antibiotic will kill the bacteria in your cycle and you will have to cycle the tank again after the treatment is over.

If this doesn't take care of it, then it could well be hole in the head disease. The only real treatment for that is extremely clean water and excellent diet.

I would suggest you incease your water changes to every week until you can get the problem under control at least, depending on how many fish are in the tank it may be that you need to do weekly changes to keep it clean enough.

i'm hoping you do no longer mean 2-face as in pretend or something. Pretentious might've been fantastic. yet, sure. i've got met some Gemini's like that. although, I additionally be attentive to a pair very silent Gemini's and calm and do merely no longer supply a damn. I hate assembly the pretentious and bipolar Gemini. They piss me off lots.
