The original was more fun and funny.
The new one has little humor but is much better thought out and very good drama.

Yes it is 10x better than the Original. The old Battlestar Galactica was more like a sitcom where at the end of every episode everything was alright. The new Battlestar Galactica has balls, they kill off major characters and these characters have flaws like real people. In the old show Adama and Apollo got along all the time, and there was never any family squables that were not cleared up by the end of the episode. The new series has family disputes, people cracking up over the strain of the war, supply issues, marriage issues. The new Battlestar Galactica is much better than the original.

I like how the new Galactica has modernized; and the graphics are better. I am however a classics fan. They should have kept Boomer and Starbuck males.The older Glactica also had more of a family type of ring. The older is better.

My husband recently turned me on to this show...I love it! The plotline is great, the characters are cool & the Cylons rock. There 's only one part of it that's just plain silly, though, the use of the word "frackin' ". WHATEVER!

Yes! This is a real story and not some made for kids drama. There is no silly kid, smart (but dumb) scientist, or funky robot dog. This show is deep and complex. Oh, BTW, Lorne Green is dead.

Nope, watched the origional and tried to watch the new one, but found too many silly plot lines to make it even remotely real. Stopped watching when they found new caperica, that storyline was too unrealistic to me.
