Do you ever sit on the toilet with the door open when you're alone in the house?

I know there's no need to lock the door or even shut it when no-one else is there, but I always feel self-coscious.

Yes. I pets that are always running after me and follow me into the bathroom. If I close the door they are scratching and trying to get in. If I'm home alone I don't see any need to close the door. No one just walks into my home. If there are people here though I always close the door.

Why leave the door open? Well i understand that you are the only person in the house at the moment. but think about it, you are doing you know what an the door is open, wat if someone comes in the house, and ur soo stuck in ur business that u try to close the door but u cant reach it and the person sees you!!! thats like wow... another thing is that like the smell!! its nasty having ur room or living room smelling like wat u ate 3 days ago.
so think about that next time you dont close the door!!

Who gets to go potty with a closed door.. You evidently don't have kids at your house.. You can never use the potty behind a closed door...

yes all the time. i leave the door open when people are here, it's my house. and i live alone.

All the time because I live alone. Plus the stink airs out quicker. I do burn incense though.

In reference to the first post ..... you can always tell when someone has children because they refer to the toilet as the "potty."
