my father in law is doing herbal remedies for the treatment of cancer and one of those remedies calls for the use of garlic. He cannot chew the garlic so I blend it in the food processor for him. Does anyone know how long it will keep in the refrigerator prepared like this?

we don't buy jarred food as it has preservatives which is what is used to keep food fresher longer. I am using fresh garlic in cloves and peeling and grinding myself in a blender. No preservatives or artificial anything. I need to know how long it will keep in the refrigerator in this state not bought in a jar

You can buy minced garlic in jars at the store that keep for a long time opened. As long as it's sealed, I'm sure fresh minced by you would keep for a few weeks.

I use a little fresh grape seed oil organic with freshly ground then chopped garlic. The grape seed oil locks out the air improving the storeage time of the garlic. The oil of grape seed is also very good for you and if needed you can cook with it as well. will last for a couple of weeks. Maybe longer. Never had it last long then a few days before I had to made more.

I don't know how long it will last exactly but it should keep for several days.. Even though it will keep in the frig. you should do it daily because it looses its benefits more and more the longer it sits.. the fresher the better!!

Depends on what you mean by "keep". It beings losing nutritional value as soon as you cut it. The only way to go is process it in small amounts for immediate use.

for about a week.

Try juicing cabbage too...cruciferous veggies fight cancer as well.

Good Luck, think positive!
