All Japanese living on the coasts were rounded up and moved to internment camps in New Mexico, Idaho, and Wyoming among other places. Entire families. A lot of pressure was put on American born Japanese to renounce their US citizenship. The hysteria surrounding the Japanese-Americans did fade before the end of the war and reparations have been made for their losses.
In contrast, Muslims have not been removed from their homes completely without cause. Only Muslim men have been detained. Most have been released after questioning, some with apologies. Children and women have not been uprooted from their communities and interred for no reason other than religion.
On the other hand, Muslim men have been denied legal counsel which the Japanese Americans were not.

The American Japanese were treated worse after Pearl Harbor!! They were packed up and gave a place to live to be watched!!! The American Muslims are still living on their own and are being watched which cannot be helped!! So, the Muslim Americans are still free, the Japanese Americans were not until Japan did surrender!!

The Japanese living in the U.S. were herded into what was essentially concentration camps scattered on the West Coast. They were treated a little better than P.O.W.s at the time, though not much better. The Muslim prisoners are treated far, far better than the Japanese were back then. The Muslims have all the amenities and have all sorts of rights. A lot more than they deserve, in my opinion.

Japanese, unlike muslims were sent to camps similar to those in Europe in World War II. They were disposed of their belongings and seperated from tehir families. Muslims on the other hand were not treated unfailry.

They were rounded up and sent to live far away from home, but as far as I know, they weren't as horrible as the internment camps that the Nazis put up. There were also guidelines on how to differentiate Chinese from Japanese.
