witch in the well? in elementary school?

the witch in the well is kinda like tag. first there is a mother, a witch and the 'children'. the mother leaves the children home alone and when she comes back and they are messy so she sends them to the well. 3 times they go and come back and say ' mommy mommy there's a witch in the well' and she says ' go back' the third time the witch chases them and tags one of the children to be it(the witch).

No ... but my mom used to tell me there was a "being" in the well to scare me so I wouldn't go and fall into the well. Guess if that helped ... we lowered ourselves down by the chain to see if there was a being or not. I got grounded for 3 weeks, if I remember correctly.
