Terry Bradshaw won 4 super bowls in 6 years. About the same as Brady. BUT, in all these discussions I don't hear his name come up as the best quarterback in history. Peyton Manning will break most of Dan Marino's ercords, if not all. Dan Marino NEVER won a super bowl. And he's considered as the best. So, stop with the Tom Brady propaganda, please!

I don't think he's the best All-Time because of his rings, just right now as far as doing what it takes to win. TRUE Peyton Manning is the better player at that position, but he wins with a super talented team around him that is well coached. New England has mediocre talent all over and is coached just as well. Now, to me, it looks like Tom Brady is the key ingredient in how well that passing attack works with such no-named receivers. But I agree with you, people need to stop asking the "Brady or Manning?" question. While it's always fun to ask those kinds of questions...it doesn't seem very valid to me being that Manning is CLEARLY a more efficient passer.....Brady just does what it takes to win games and that's it, he just doesn't care who gets the ball because all of his receivers...well they're not good.

Nice example though with Bradshaw...he wasn't as good as Manning either, he was the same kind of QB Brady is...they just wins.

Brady is not the best because his team won three SB. Brady is not currently the best QB in the league or the history of the game.
Manning is not the best QB in the history of the game, yet. He may never be. Statistically, Manning is a better QB. If he had been drafted by another team with less talent, he would still have made the kind of impact he has in the game.
Brady has been lucky enough to be surrounded by a great all around team with playmaking players the years the Pats went to the SB.
Historically, the best statistical QB is Marino. The best according to those that say Brady is best would be Bradshaw. Best that is similar to Brady is Montana.
Since none of us can tell the future, it all amounts to favorites. My fave is Dan Fouts. But I know that he is not the best ever.
Team loyalty often clouds peoples reasoning in this situation.

I do not hear people say he is the best of all time. He is considered one of the top QBs in the game today, which is a correct arguement he has 3 rings and he is still early in his career. Also, I would never consider Marino the best, very few people would simply because he never won a ring. Bradys career is not over and neither is Mannings so no one should consider them the greatest ever, yet. Time will tell what they will go down as after they are finished playing. Also, the arguement using Bradshaw is flawed because football has changed dramatically since the days of Bradshaw. Free agency has changed the game hugely, it was put in to try and prevent teams from doing what the Patriots haev done. A dynasty today is a lot harder to accomplish then it was then because teams change ever year. Please stop with the Brady hating and just enjoy a great player.

FIRST OFF, Manning will be breaking all of Brett Favre's records, not Dan Marinos.

Now, onto important matters. Brett Favre is undoutably the greatest QB in NFL history, even with "only one" Super Bowl ring. John Elway only had one also, but he's still considered by some to be the best.

Tom Brady is extremely talented, and most of all, it's his poise in the pocket that is admirable. But Tom Brady certainly didn't WIN three Rings himself, he had a very complete team, even without elite recievers. Most importantly, he had the smartest coach in football in Bill Bilicheck.

Right now is Brady better than Peyton? Maybe. Will he eventually be considered better than Peyton? Absolutely no way.

Will Peyton be considered teh best ever eventually? Most likely.

In ten years time, I see it like this...

#1 Peyton Manning
#2 Brett Favre
#3 Dan Marino
#4 John Elway
#5 Joe Montana

Brady isn't even in the top 5... he MIGHT be in the top 10 overall in NFL history by the time he retires though.

Who the hell cares. This season will consistently be a tainted season for the Pats marked with the help of an astertisk for cheating. I consistently respected them till the cheating scandal, now ill never look at them the comparable lower back, even tho that happened a whilst lower back. And my trustworthy opinion approximately Tom Brady is that hes a sturdy QB little doubt approximately it, yet hes no longer the main suitable. With this aside, the explanation for Tom Brady's fulfillment is that his offensive line buys him distinctive time to make sturdy throws. The Pats have the main suitable o-line in the league and function allowed the fewest sacks. very few communities if any have been in a position to get tension on Brady. besides the fact that if, while he's forced, hes completely distinctive. for example, while they performed the colts this season, it replace into an exceedingly close interest. The Colts had Tom Brady found out and that they stored bringing tension on him from the two facets, forcing him to make undesirable throws and toss options. This shows the vulnerability of Tom Brady and QBs in many circumstances. If a protection is in a position to effectively be conscious consistent tension on a QB, that QB even if or no longer this is Tom Brady or Brett Favre will conflict. identity advantageous desire to work out a sturdy protection bypass up against Brady and spot if he can repeat his god-like overall performance.

Second Off, Manning will eventually break all individual passing records (Favre, Marino, etc.)

While I love the Packers, Brett Favre will never be the best QB. He takes too many risks passing and many end up as interceptions.

BTW, John Elway has two rings, not one.

Rings are only product of a team's ability to work together; no one would suggest Brad Johnson is in the all time top 20 of QBs and he has ring (dare I say Trent Dilfer).

Tom's ability to move his team and keep them focused is incredible. He seems unshakeable. Does that make him the best QB? This has been Peyton's one flaw, you can get under his skin.

If you look at QB stats Peyton is better than Brady hands down. Does that make him the best? What about all of Elway's 4th Qtr comebacks?

Also, why isn't anyone mentioning Todd Marinovich?

You are insane to believe any of that bull up there! Tom Brady is not the "best" of all time, but he's definatly up there with Dan Marino and Brett Favre. He is one of the best quarterbacks to have when you've got 2 minutes to go and your down by a touchdown.

Both fortunately and unfortunately, RINGS are the measure used to define great QB 's. Statistically, Bradshaw was an average QB, yet he's got four rings and is in the HOF. Montana, again not statistically great, but Rings were the great equalizer. Had Elway not won his two superbowls, greatness would not be associated with his name. What makes Brady among the best, is even when they don't win or play well, he still is a much better QB that most, even Bradshaw and Montana.

Ah now hold on there skippy. I believe the question was who is the better qb between Brady and Manning not the best of all time. As far as Manning breaking Marino's records, the majority of those will be Favre's before to long.

Nobody is saying Tom Brady is the best ever...YET...They are saying he is the BEST QB in the league RIGHT NOW...(I'm sure some Peyton Manning fans are reading this)...One more ring, and he'll be tied with Joe Montana...Terry Bradshaw is the SECOND best QB in history, only to Joe Montana...Bradshaw was not as dominant in games, or last minute, game-winning drives as Montana...That's why Montana is regarded as the best...Bradshaw is #2...which isn't too shabby...I never see Bradshaw complaining on NFL Today...
