my ex wants to get back with me and now he wants to be in the baby's life. what should I do?

Thats entirely up to you...No one can tell you what you should do....Only you know how he is and what life will probably be like if you got back together. There was a reason why he's not with you and the baby and you need to focus on whats important and thats being a mom.

One..you don't have to be together for him to be in your childs life. Two..don't do anything you don't want to do. It's your life and you get to choose...remember that. Why would you want to get back with him? Obviously something happened that you are not together. If he treated you badly before, made you feel badly before...wake up, he hasn't and probably won't change. If he is serious make him prove it. You can both attend counseling together and go from there. You can date and see how things work out. Letting him move in would be a big mistake.

Brandi, don't you think that your ex finally realize that the life that he left behind was the one that his been wanting too? The baby is part of him, so give him another chance to show you that he is improve, but this time you set the rules, tell him what you want and don't want. let him know that you life is not a roller coaster that can be turn on and off when he wants to. and if he agrees with all of your demand,give him the chance to show you that it is you and your baby that he wanted,.....I hope that this help.............

Let him be in teh babies life as this is important as he is the father am I right? Take your time getting back with him romantically though. Make sure you want that just as much as he does before jumping into it again. Is he still single yet or is he involved with another woman. If he is involved with someone else do not get involved with him in this way. Date and be friends with him for a while before getting back into a relationship with him again.

Do you want to get back together? If you do, you should probably try. It would be good for the baby to have both parents together. If you don't really want to get back together, don't fake it.
As far as letting him see the baby, he probably has the right to see his own child. I obviously don't know the details of your situation, but it is his child as well as your own.

look into your heart and see if you still have feeling for this man. and if there are feeling then try to get back together but do it for you not the baby the baby will always have a daddy but you need to make you are happy with the man. good luck.

It will be up to you to decide whether to get back with him or not, but you should let him be a part of his child's life no matter what happens between the two of you.
