I have always had a PC, but would like to try a mac maybe on my next upgrade. apparently its impossible to get a virus with a mac due to its built in firewall and if it make things simpler to do that's fine unless you need to keep up with office works due to your employment which would be the only down fall for me as work done on my lap top may not be compatible with the PC at work.
I have noticed whenever you see a laptop on the TV on the news etc they seem to be macs, so if the people who are using these for professional reasons opt for a mac there must be something in it

But only because I've had them for 9yrs,but would consider a Mac as I've read and heard some very good reports about them, I just feel anyone with an interest should investigate all things regarding computing as newest singing all dancing doesn't necessarily mean better as vista has its problems already as did,95,98 and the most rubbish of all win (me)
and of course xp.

I prefer a pc just because that's what I grew up with and I'm used to it. I used a mac a couple of times they were ok.

Personally i prefer mac but to each his own. Mac is just an all around good computer. They rarely have any problems. PC is ok but the whole knew windows vista sucks. Has way to many problems.
