is it worth going there for a day trip.

I work in telford and used to live in telford and r now living 10 mins away.
If your kinda close its worth going but dont travel more than 30ish miles as it wont be worth it as its not that big, you would get round it pretty quick, but there are other things to do which are a walk away eg... Town Park (great), ice rink, bowling, cinema and a good indoor shopping centre with all the shops you can think of.
Its got a cool maze where its easy to get lost in ! all in all its quite good im sure the kids will like it!

yes..
park car by the ice rink from there you can walk in.. there is some private gardens to walk arround with water features also in several area there are child play areas
play areas are for different aged kids from sand play areas to normal and fancy see saws and for bit older theres climbing ares
also there is a remote contro area were for a few pence in the slot you play with remote control cars / boats
walking on in far corner is alice in wonderland not to expensive to get in ..inside you have a maze and several picnic areas
also inside there is a lot of themed areas were you can see things from nursery rymes like goldilocks house .. hansel and gretel ..3 little pigs fairy house etc etc ....kids love them ..
also there is a cafe were you can sit rest feet and have a cuppa ..you will need one ..
get the weather right and its a nice cool day out..
