Well it like a Cell Phone so you may not get connected everywhere. But, Verizon and Cingular, I think advertise this. It, like a wireless card but dials in like a Cell Phone. I know Verizon had this for $50 a month, but, that on top of the Cell Phone bill. Also, that may been a "get you hooked" price that go up later.
Another way; Some cell phones do have a connector you use and can use it like a Dial-Up at home, but, this will cost by the minute and not be a set rate for unlimited access.

Get a wireless acces card from one of the three: Sprint, Verizon, Cingular (AT&T). If you have a cell phone signal...you have internet access. Hint: Sprint has the fastest card by far. I've used all 3. It's called a PC500. It will load 3 pages to AT&T"s and Verizons 1 page. The coverage is better with Verizon but I went for speed. Hope this helps....

Get an EVDO card. Its like a cellphone card for your notebook. Sprint, Verizon, and Cingular all have it. The best is Sprint and Verizon though. If you already have cell phone service with them you will get a discount on your internet service.

Buy a wireless internet card/adapter for your notebook. I use Netgear. They have them at electronic stores and they can help you find the right one.
