First of all, offer him something tangible of equal value as collateral and put it in writing that you will pay him back after a certain amount of time. If you default, you lose the valuable item!
Dude, make a fair offer and if the guy has the money to lend, you'll probably get it. If you're looking for a free ride, don't waste his time.

I wouldn't ask. You may have a sticky situation between you two after you do ask and the answer is no.
I have an elderly aunt who is well off and she knew for a long time I was in need, but never once did she offer me some help. Its obvious she doesn't want me to have it, so that's that. Its better to borrow from a bank or a title loan, for that matter.

Grow up.
Don't borrow money from relatives.
Get a job...and if that is not in your agenda...get a big plastic trash bag...and start picking up Aluminum Cans on the highway (recycle $1.95 US per pound) and plastic bottles (5 cents for the small ones and 10 cents for the large ones).
You are a sad case!

Borrowing from anyone should be only used as a last resort.
Do you work? Can you make arrangements, for whatever reason you say need, in many cases you will realize it is only a want not a need.
I recommend you wait it out until you can take care of your own concerns, and not depend on anyone.

If you ask that person for money they more than likely will tell you no. You can't ask someone for that amount of money whom you recently had a falling out with and not expect them to think you are only being nice for money. Maybe ask several people for smaller amounts and that might aide you into getting the lump sum that you need.

The worst they can do is say no might as well ask b/c hey they might jus say yes and u'll be upset if u never ask and it comes out in the future that they would of lended it 2 u. But @ the same time u do not want them 2 think that u only tallkin 2 them b/c of the $$ so make sure ya'll still K.I.T. after u ask if u do. GOOD LUCK

Borrowing money from family or friends will destroy that relationship so fast it
will make your head spin. There must be another way, even if you have to borrow
it from the bank.
