It's fine. It would good if the diastolic (the second number) was a little lower, but your BP is just fine.

120/80 used to be THE number to shoot for as "normal," however there is a new standard of what they are classifying as "pre-hypertension." Depending on your age and if you are taking medications, 120/85 can go either way actually.
If you are over 50 and taking 2 drugs for hypertension you might want to call your doctor as your diastolic shouldn't be anywhere near 85. If you are under 50 years of age, and not taking any medication at all for hypertension you're doing alright.

"Normal" is somewhere around 120/80. So no, you aren't particularly high. That said, if you feel like something isn't right, go to the doctor. No one here can diagnose you and better safe than sorry.

Sounds high, how do you know what it is? Those machines at the store aren't always accurate. Blood pressure is relative to the person, so that may be high for you or just normal The only one who would know is your doctor.

That is probably not an alarming blood pressure. Keep an eye on the bottom number. You definitely don't want it any higher than that. Watch your sodium intake... if you cut back on the salt it may come down a little bit. Don't forget to exercise. That will help too.

120/80 is average... this totally depends on YOUR BODY SIZE.... in order to get accurate blood pressure results... take your blood pressure and pulse... several times a day.. keep a log in a notebook.. this way you can tell what your Blood pressure is normally running.... then you can give this log to your doctor and they will greatly appreciate it......
