One time my husband got mad at me for screwing the guy at the Taco Bell drive thru. I told him he had forgotten to give me my burrito so he gave me a new one. When we got home I found out my burrito was really in the bottom of the bag. I felt bad for getting two burritos but only paying for one, but my husband made me feel even worse for screwing that poor guy.

If you did not notice it initially then both of you made a mistake and you plan to rectify it. Call Starbuck's, tell the manager what happened and you will be in tomorrow to give back the change. Why is your wife mad? You didn't do this on purpose and you are going to fix it.

The girl at Starbucks screwed herself. Her incompetence on the job is not your fault...her drawer will be short and next time she will either get it right or she will not have a job handling money.
Tell your wife to get over it...you have, more than likely, been had the other way also and this just makes up for it.

I don't see why she's so upset. As long as you take care of the matter tomorrow and don't let it drag on or "forget" about it. I would just make sure that she's working when you go back in and it isn't some other girl.
