Initially the 'war' was a good idea. Well, back then, I don't think it could exactly be called a war. Britain & US were just interfering, trying to sort things out. Iraq needed help, I don't think anyone could have sat back, being a politician, watching thousands of people die under one man's orders. Now, I still think some work needs to be done, but the orders the army are recieving are not what I think should be. There is too much interferance now, it's us who's losing men, and I think, our reputation for being able to do the right thing.

Yes, the oil companies that want to exploit the Iraqi oil fields and ensure very little of the oil revenue goes to the Iraqis think it's a good idea. Whomever has benefited from the $125 billion dollars in oil revenue since the invasion think it's a good idea. The arms industries that were seeing a fall in profits before the war think it was a very good idea. The coffin makers of Iraq, USA and Britain - good idea. The stupid and the gullible who thought we were going in to effect a 'regime change', (although I don't know why the USA put him in power there in the first place), good idea.

Do you really think we are at war in Iraq? the reason I ask this is because there are millions of Muslim's in the UK,now when we was at war with Germany,I cant recall seeing a couple of Germans never mind millions of em,I think our politicians should look at our history books and learn how to fight a war,the Germans were defeated in five years, this one looks like it's gonna last another hundred.

War is big business - much more effective than social welfare programs. What got us out of the Grand Depression? Not the WPA but World War II.

All you liberals believe each other and the media. The fact is a majority of Americans support this war and this president. You people just don't have a clue about reality.
