This made me laugh - I once met two people from the Singing Kettle in the street a few years ago when my first born was just about 6 months old. When I saw them coming towards me I went "oh my god your from the Singing Kettle" in a very flustered sort of a way! (HORMONES!!!) Goodness knows if I met Robbie Williams or Mark Owen. I have also bumped into TV John - (Ralph Riach) in Tescos - he was the one in Hamish McBeth also in Taggart, Monarch of the Glen, I managed to hold myself together to actually get a conversation going!

I would be surprised, but would imagine they had relatives or friends in this area.
Mind you I don't know a lot of so called celebrities, so I may not notice.
If it was someone I particularly liked I would probably talk to them.

Try walking round Brighton you'll pass different ones all the time. Mostly they are happy to say Hi and let you take a photo. So in answer to your question .....not very.
