Im curious if left hand drive cars are allowed to be imported to Japan as of 2007. Are they odd to find in japan (rare)? Are they harder to drive in the Japanese road system? thanks

Yes, they are allowed. I have several acquaintances that own Mercedes Benz LHDs. They aren't more difficult to drive, but you have a larger blind spot when making left turns. But they are allowed.

Hope that helps.
