Here is a website that shows you the tribes in Oklahoma as well as other cultural places you can visit:

Have Fun!

Oh and if you haven't visited tribes before you might want to read up on a little etiquette:

I am in Southeastern Oklahoma. Home of the Choctaw Nation. The Choctaw Nation Council House is located in Tuskahoma. Has some neat artifacts. Oklahoma is a great place to visit. Very beautiful. Lots of Nature.

The best online source is www.travelok.com. It will give you LOTS of information!

Remember that Oklahoma is a state rich in culture. While you may have visions of visiting an Indian tribe, unless they are having a festival, you may end up visiting tribal offices with men & women in business suits. www.travelok.com will have a list of events such as this, though.

It's everywhere and OK is a very diverse state. Has lot of nice country side depending what your looking for. Basically the whole state is divided into Indian nations and each nation has their own reservation and government. If you travel the state you'll see signs saying what Indian nation you are currently in. The trail of tears and all that is in the NE part. Also, the National Cowboy and Western Heritage museum in OKC is really cool to walk through. Don't forget to get the full experience of Native America, visit one of our many many many casinos lol.

For Indian tribes, I recommend going to see the museums of the Cherokee in Talequah, or the Potawatomi in Shawnee.
