I love my best friend to death. We always give each other advice and we r pretty close. She has been in really bad relationships and she always hooks up wit the wrong people. her Ex actually confided in me once that the reason they broke up was that she she bitched about everything (trust me I know about her bitching). I am dating somebody and i feel like she is kinda jealous. She gives me the worst advice when it comes to relationships and guys. I feel that she is trying to ruin my relationship wit this guy by giving me sucky advice...HELP

It's important to evaluate the importance of people in your life. Do you feel like you are in a balanced friendship or a black hole?
I find that the older I get, the less time I have for negative people. I believe that you absorb what you're around. I choose to be around positve, peaceful people so that I may reflect the same.
Negativity doesn't improve any situation. Can you turn this negative into a positive?

The only person you can trust is yourself.

Your friend is probably jealous but don't let her ruin what you might have with your relationship...if it worries you so much then talk to her about it or just ignore the advice she gives..you have to make the judgements yourself and follow your heart because at the end of the day it's only you that can make the discissions.

hope it all works out ok though

Yeah, it doesn't sound like she would be a person to go to for relationship advice.
She doesn't sound like a very good friend, either. It's normal to be jealous, but she should be supporting you!

It's your fault for asking for advice then if the relationship with this guy is so great!

Why be asking her advice? IF she's just coming out and offering advice, let her know you haven't asked for it!!

talk to her about it and ask why she would do that. shes not a very good friend if she doesnt really want you to be happy

Just ignore what she is saying, if you know she is being bitchy then just ignore her. And dont belive any lies she comes up with. :D

Stop talking to her about him and if she mentions anything, just nod and say "Yeah, thanks!". If she asks how you're doing, simply reply "we're great! thanks!" and that's that. Keep your friendship and relationship separate and make sure you tell her that if she asks you what's up.
