I have a daughter who have not seen for many years and wanted to know if she has been looking for me

I applaud your efforts to get in touch with your daughter again, but here on Yahoo Answers, the questions just roll off the top of the list and are buried by new questions...not to be seen again.
If I were you, I would search google for sites that are made to hook people up again. I dont have any recommendations. You may want to also put up a public myspace page, as this way she may just stumble on to you through your profile in this very popular site.

there is a charity that you can register with(forgot the name) where you can leave your contact details, should she have been looking for you, and vice versa, she may have already done this.

Try going on friends unite and searching for her name, she could be on there ?!
