Okay. I am fourteen, nearly fifteen years old. I don't have what some would refer to as "horrible" acne, but it is a huge pain in the butt. I've tried nearly everything, but nothing seems to be working like I want it to. I have normal skin, not extra greasy or extra dry, so I really don't understand why my skin just doesn't stay clear! Help?

the pores get clogged then you get the zit, what helped me was 1 time a week usually Fri. night I would shower and get all my makeup off and rub my face and neck with alcohol to clean all of my pores, if I had any pimples lurking underground they usually came up by the next morning then by school on Monday gone. I have done this for about 10 years and it's worked for me and if your a makeup wearer then stay away from foundations that have oil and noxzema, Max factor is okay because it has a water base and lets your face breath.

Usually it's diet related, stress from school or your parents, try to drink lots of water, dont pick them you could put aloe vera on them its very healing, cut a fresh piece from a plant or buy 100% aloe gel or juice(grocery store & walmart has plants & juice) I find fresh works the best. Herbal teas ask the health food store for something for acne or skin, up your water drink lots it flush the body & really does help skin also up your vitamins( take A, C, & vit E all separate) if possible.. And of course people say diet doesnt affect it but that a lie when you eat junk ,sugar, salty your body secretes the excess & your weight and even skin suffers. Also dont over clean your face just clean it enough & use a mild facial cleanser.Eat more fruit & veggies less prossessed, bad foods
Try the aloe & extra vitamins it should work but things take time it wont happen over night may take months but it's worth it.

Cheryl writes, "My daughter developed a case of moderate acne, and after trying a number of different things for over a year which helped very little or not at all, she started drinking 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar three times a day and applying it topically once at night.
