I've followed Jack Black's career since I first seen him in the Airborne, as Augie. Since then I've seen him in numerous 90's movies with small roles, but my favorite of all time will be the late night show Tenacious D used to show on HBO. Is there an obscure or popular movie you remember Jack Black in? Or do you have a favorite role you've seen him in? SNL counts.

He played the director in King Kong, until his cameraman got eaten by crazy dinosaurs. He also played a bald thug with a leather jacket in the Neverending Story 3.

I love all his movies but the 2 best are probably School of Rock and the bit part he played in enemy of the state.

Airborne.
It was mostly a Team Rollerblade movie, and he was like thug #2.
He didn't have much of a speaking role which is why I enjoyed it so much.
The Jackal was great because he got shot by Bruce Willis's character.
Next is Shallow Hal because I love all those fat jokes. People are WAY too sensitive and Politically Correct nowadays.

he was awesome in King Kong as the cameraman, he had a couple of funny lines but otherwise that movie was his first serious role, surprise, suprise eh?

Loved his performance in The Holiday with Cameron Diaz etc...
I didn't think I would enjoy him in a more serious role, but he was great at it.

I don't like Jack Black, shallow hal was ok I guess. It just annoys me that he is in so many movies, I don't think he is a good actor.
