World of Warcraft - Background adjustment?

Question

I just started playing and I'm not sure what happened, but the background is too close. My character is OK; but the grass is enhanced, etc, and I can't see far enough to navigate. Also, it looks like I'm looking down. How do I fix that?

you can try using your scroll wheel to back away from your character if that doesnt work or it still looks like you are looking down try the right button on mouse and move it around till you think it looks right

1st thing I would do is hit Escape key, click on Video Options and find the button that allows for a further zoom out for your viewing. While you are there, adjust anything else to customize your experience in Interface options and sound options.

After your changes are entered, hit escape to clear that out, and use your scroll wheel on your mouse to zoom in and out, and click and hold a button on your mouse and move it around to adjust your view. This is something you will be doing all the time depending on the area you are in.

OH, one more thing, there is a button in video options that allows for "smart camera follow". Use that, so the camera is usually behind you and in the right angle. You probably have it set on birds eye view or something like it.

try using your scroll buttons on your mouse to zoom in and out, and holding down the left mouse button moving it up and down will change the angle.

If you just started, I would quit.. Wait until next Friday when Lord of the Rings: Online starts its Open Beta, so that you can join a game similar to WoW, but not full of 8 million middle-schoolers..

I don't know your answer but be careful mmorpg's can be addicting. I know because my husband plays like 35-40 hrs. a week.
