Probably because, like in my office, some jack@ss left it there. Remember you have people that think *your* desk is the perfect place to put their stuff....kind of like the stack of junk faxes sitting on my desk.

Sorry, I was snacking as I rummaged through your papers. The Zimmerman file was missing and the log showed you checked it out.. If you are missing it, it is in Bob Robert's office, or John Johnson's.
