You will need to set up a merchant account and whichever bank you set that merchant account up with will rent you the machines.

Consult the Business Finance Manager of your Bank. He might be able to call up a Card Company and arrange for the facility for you as a Participating Merchant establishment.

Your bank should be able to help you. I worked at a bank and we called it Merchant Services. They provide you with the equipmentand set it up for you and such. Some banks offer small business specialists that can help you with your every need. If your bank doesn't offer these services (and I don't see a reason why they shouldn't), then you can contact the credit card company directly (depending on what you want to accept) and see if they can be of further help to you.

Definitely the bank. Tell them you want to open a merchant account. Your best bet is to find a small local bank ... the big national ones probably won't allow a start up to open a merchant account.

Forget the machines. Move to mobile and net-based. The hardware costs less and the rates are the same.
Send me an email and I can send you the details.
