I have a grape size knot on my shin, it does'nt hurt, I'm just wondering what it is?????

where is it located? if its right below the knee then its called the tibial tuberosity and thats where your quadicep muscle attaches. If its up towards the knee but on the outside of your leg its called Gerdes tubercle and thats where other muscles attach onto.
