I once had to dress up in this bizarre get up that looked like a giant foam polyp, with my face painted black and blue, for a drama club initiation in high school. That was a LONG day.

Once, for Halloween, I dressed up as a 'dust bunny'
I wore black tights, a gray fuzzy shirt and I glued things that you would find under your bed...a sock, bobble gum wrapper, paper clips, dryer sheet, fuzz, on old shoestring, a bobby pin, dryer lint, small pieces of paper...etc.
I made ears from felt and put them on a headband and wore rabbit teeth.
I love making clever costumes.

ooh...About 4 years ago I was in the chorus of the school musical. It was Joseph and his amazing technicolour dream coat. We were all dressed up in sequins. sequined sarongs, bandanas, ponchos and then there was the red rosy cheeks and tarty makeup. It was good fun. No embarrassment at the time. We actually went to the pub after in full outfit and makeup. We raised a few eyebrows.
2 years ago we did Calamity Jane. After that we turned the local bar into a Saloon. Cowboy hats, boots, chaps, heavy eye liner and cap guns.

When it's cold enough, I LOVE wearing my coonskin cap. It disturbs a lot of people....others just say "Hey...it's Fess Parker!"
