Make sure you know and/or trust this person before sending the money order. They should provide you with an address to send the money order to.

Before you send money to anyone regarding anything on the internet - you must know that any Yahoo, gmail, or hotmail account (or similar free email address) is completely untraceable.
A Yahoo email address does not mean someone is a legitimate business person. It does not guarantee anything, except that the person who set it up had access to the internet at one point.
A person might say they are from the US, but actually be from Russia. Just because an email address originated from yahoo.com, does not mean it came from anywhere in particular. In other words, there is no proof of ownership to an email address.

Unless you know this person in real life then I would advise not sending any money to anyone you don't know. The other person was right, sounds like a scam to me. Is it really worth it do you think?
