A mark is a person who:

- Does not know that Wrestling is scripted
- Enjoys professional wrestling the way it is
- Believes storylines and never has second thoughts about things that occur
- Gets emotionally managed by what the wrestling promotion does, for example if a wrestler is a fan favorite, he is the favorite of the "mark" as well, if another wrestler is a heel, he is hated by the mark too.

People do not know when they are a mark because a mark is not aware that Wrestling is scripted, they only know that they "were" a mark when they get to know of the reality.

Summing it up, a Mark is basically a devout Wrestling Fan who just loves wrestling and wrestlers and doesn't know that Wrestling is scripted.

people who think wrestling is real (or have little knowlege of what is wrestling) , defend his or her favorite no matter what. Typical sterotyping of Cena fans.
