I think too much emphasis gets put on the rings. New England was just a better all around team than Indy in those days but I don't think that there is any denying that Peyton Manning is a more gifted quarterback than Brady. Peyton has it all from excellent field vision along with a rocket arm that can get the ball to any spot on the field. Peyton would be a good QB no matter where he played but would Brady be Brady without Belichick?

Eli Manning did not win the great Bowl. The Giants did. The Colts have been sluggish to win a great Bowl not Peyton Manning. Tom Brady did not lose the great Bowl. The Patriots did. there is not any spoon. The silverware misplaced the great Bowl. The roof isn't on fire. The water gained the great Bowl.

Peyton is still a better QB over all even without the ring. Brady only has two more rings, but that is because of the team he was surrounded by.

Guy above me is crazy. Peyton plays on a better team, just the defense sucks. In the clutch moments, Tom Brady is better, but overall Peyton Manning is better.

Like the guy above me. TOM BRADY WAS NEVER THE BEST! Terry Bradshaw won 4 super bowls in a short period too! Why isn't he considered as one of the top quarterbacks ever???? Cuz he's not.

Brady plays on a better team? What is that dude smoking. I think he has the NAMES confused. Manning plays on the better team. He has the offense built around him. The Patriots may have a better Defense, but Brady is the only reason that offense looks so good. Brady has 3 rings if we only want to go by bling. The Colts play in a WEAKER division, so all those playoff appearances, where Manning always seems to choke, don't impress me.

to many factors enter into it.way to many variables.go back in time and switch teams and see if they have the same results.in my opinion tom brady is because he has the same quality the two greatest qbs ever have.cool under fire.he always looks like hes in control and knows what hes doing.montana and johnnie u are the same.the hardest thing to accomplish is drive the ball down the field at the end of the game to win.think of how many times it happened.how many times teams have failed is way more than they succeeded.

Neither of them is the best quarterback in the NFL. In order to be the best you should be able to win games with a team less than average . Both teams colts, and patriots are out sanding teams, and their O lines are great. I think that the best last year was drew Brees, and all time Brett favre
