a pen busted in the dryer and now there's pen mark all over the inside.... if i do another load, will the blue get on the clothes?? it doesnt seem to be wiping off so good.... has this happened to anyone?

Scrub it off using rubbing alcohol, and it should be pretty easy.
Then let the dryer air out for a day before using.

Don't use the dryer until you have removed all the ink from the dryer. Spray some hair spray on a rag & rub on the ink spots, & that will do the trick. It may take a while but the hair spray will do the trick. Wipe the inside of the dryer when all of the ink is removed, with a damp cloth, then the dryer is ready to use again.

Don't use hairspray. Hairspray only removes ink because it has alcohol in it. It is the ALCOHOL that removes the ink. If you spray hairspray in your dryer, you might leave residue of the sticky stuff that's in hairspray. Wipe down the dryer with a disposable towel and rubbing alcohol.

The best product I have found is Clorox Bathroom Cleaner. I also used rubbing alcohol and nair polish remover (though at all of these at once!) After you remove the majority of the ink, run the dry on the cotton setting for awhile to "bake" the rest in, so it won't ruin anymore clothes.

I once used gas to get pen ink off my skin it worked , dont know if you can use it on a dryer though ( just a suggestion)

Use lighter fluid, it is good for removing ink. Be careful that it doesn't also remove the paint in the drier. Also, be sure that it has dried out (evaporated) before using again. I would suggest leaving the door open 7-8 hours to guarantee the fluid is completely evaporated.

Try wiping with denatured alcohol. This usually removes ink.

Try vinegar. That seems to clean a lot of things. If that doesn't work, try WD-40 which also cleans a lot of stuff.
