Happy to say I am not one of those. I can function and be happy independantly without relying on a man for my happiness.

Some women/girls out there wait for 'handsome prince' to take them away. How desperate! Can they not be happy on their own? Sad, sad women...

Just highlights their weakness and inferiority.

All the men need to read this thread very carefully! The more you think you can run around and abuse and treat women as you please in the name of ***** conquests the more women like Life's Too short you are going to create by your own actions! And the more women there are to spread the word of the sisterhood like LTS the less there are gonna be to go round and choose from.

For emotional stability Men need women far more than women will ever need men.

Oh and LTS.... We are not all weak and inferior, some of us really do have our finger right on the pulse, don't be so keen to tar everyone with the same brush!

Don't judge hun, you might find yourself in that womans shoes...bless them because without them you wouldn't have anything to gauge your self worth with. Our opposites are here to help us grow and vice versa.

It all has to do with family, media and self perception, all of us have questioned our self worth at some point, all women wonder if they are good enough at some point in there lives, if your young then you might not have enough life experience but if your older than you should be able to look back and find a point in your life when you didn't feel good enough, doesn't mean you lived that mind set but I'm sure you can think of a time when you weren't feeling complete.

Life is evolution, were all on different levels of the evolutionary scale and just because a woman needs validation thru men today doesn't mean she won't evolve away from that...what your judging as sad is another persons life lesson so don't be so quick to judge that because your life lessons could and can be judged by others in the same way.

peace

I dont think it is a choice they can make, you are who you are. To you it might be sad but to them they might just be lonely and wanting companionship. You should try not to be so closed minded. Your upbringing usually reflects in your personality, maybe they did not have a nice childhood or maybe they had parents who were deeply in love and have grown up with this vision dreaming of one day living it. There are so many reasons why people are desperate to be loved. But congratulations to you for being a strong individual who makes her own destiny

Some woman can be like that, but I am not one of them. My bad relationships in my past have taught me to be happy with myself, if I find a man, then great, if not then oh well. I don't think it is just woman though, one of my ex's was just like you are explaining, he needed a girl there all the time for him, he wasn't very independent. I think everyone should have enough self esteem to be comfortable with themself.

you can be happy and independant with yourself.. as I am... wanting a so called "prince charming" which is different in everyone.s heart ... does not make you inferior or weak... Im sure youv'e wanted somethn... chocolate.. new purse.. etc... I am happy on my own... what's wrong with adding a little prince to it... when u rely on a man for decisions.. money and such.... i would say to need to become stronger.. independantly... but wanting a man to add to your happiness... does not make you a weak one.....

I know some like that. It's good to learn to be independent and to love your own company. John Mayer's song, "Daughters" is perfect for describing why we should be good to the young females of the world.

I think alot of women are insecure for some reason or another. I agree with you that it does highlight their weakness and inferiority... and if i was a guy that would totally put me off....

You think it's weak and inferior to want love? i think it's you that has the issues. I'm single and happy with it but i don't go round judging other women because they want relationships. grow up!
it's also a bit sad that you give thumbs down to anyone who doesn't agree with you!

believe me there are good guys out there .
somewhere

besides, I say KUDOS to all the STRONG women out there that choose to be alone rather than settle for some jerk !
