The contraceptive pill doesn't help. C'mon girls I need some help. I really suffer terribly for two days per month - needing injections of morphine, the pain is so severe.

Try the continuous pill. If you don't ever get your period, you don't have to worry about the migraine. I used to suffer badly with them, and now I haven't had one in over a year.

What has your doctor said? If you need morphine, then you should probably look into other options. Quite possibly it's the pill that's doing it to you. I know that when I was on Depo my back would hurt so bad I had been prescribed Vicodin and Valium. That's not a happy side effect. :-( Since I got off it, it's been fine. Talk to your doctor about switching methods. It's worth a try.
