oil in the intake system .Where is the oil coming from?

If you took the manifold off you'd be able to see the pushrods going up through the head. It's not a pressurized oil passage, but you will get oil out there.

It wouldn't hurt to put in a new gasket. These engines have a known problem with the intake gasket. It usually lets coolant leak into the oil. It can also let oil into the intake manifold.

There is no oil circulating to or through the gasket, but the intake manifold itself is the cover for parts which have an oil supply to them, the valve lifters.

it in all probability wont stay that way for long. gaskets will enhance and leak and in all probability worsen. the only ingredient i will enable you realize is to substitute the gasket. changing that's puzzling besides the shown fact that it is going to value you extra funds to maintain changing oil, plus having an oil leak will reason engine injury.
