My boyfriend and I have never had sex, but we screw around sometimes. I've never been late on my period, but all of the sudden I am. I've been really stressed, sick, and not eating well...could that be part of the issue? I'm really worried...I don't want to be pregnant, and I am almost positive that his fingers were clean because he never touches himself. We always wash our hands and such, but after like 8 years of getting my period...and I've almost never been late, and now I am. I'm only 19 so I've heard that some variation in my cycle is possible...but its never happened before. Please help.

Well, screwing around is basically fingering
and I didn't know stimulation could mess up your period.

If you have had normal periods until now, consider yourself lucky. The chances of you being pregnant are virtually none. The more you stress yourself out, the later your period will be. So take a few deep breaths and give it a few weeks. If you don't start, then call your GYN to find out why and they can give you something that will start you.

If you have never had intercourse, the possibility of you being pregnant is nearly zero. If you are worried that there was some residual semen on his fingers, I can assure you that the possibility from getting pregnant from that is also nearly zero. Stress and not eating, etc. can make your period late so try to take it easy. Taking a home pregnancy test now can help to ease your mind and if the period still does not arrive in 2 weeks, just see your doctor.

Well, unless his fingers were carrying any sperm, I don't think you are pregnant. You have been really stressed and this will affect your cycle. The more stressed you are, the more it will delay your period. Be very careful with any genital contact(rubbing) There have been cases in which girls have become pregnant without actual intercourse.
It seems to me that If you don't want to get pregnant then you need to think about a good method of birth control. Eventually, you will be having intercourse and you will find yourself unprepared. Then you will be really stressed out.
Take control of your body. Visit your doctor and ask to see a health educator. They will tell you everything you need to know about sex. Look for an Adolescent Clinic in your area. They are confidential and sometimes free of cost.

Define "screw around sometimes" for us. Is there penetration? If so, a man's pre-ejaculate fluid contains sperm. Not a lot, but some. That IS a possibility.
There's also stress as a cause, and there can be variations in a woman's time of the month.

its very rare for girls to get pregnant just by fingering. I doubt you're pregnant i think its all in your mind. Dont get worked up about it, it could just be just a variation in your cycle. If you're really scared just take a home pregnancy test it costs as little as 4.99

Don't panic. See your Gynaecologist for safe and exact advice. Most likely you have upset your cycle by stimulating the system. Wait out a week more and then, if needed, see the doctor.

You can't get prego from him just fingering you. You have to have sex for that to happen. You might just be stressed out from things in your life.

well it unlikely that you arent pregnant but i would see a doctor just incase bc even the smalest amount of precum can get you pregnant so if you dont start id see a doctor just to be safe plus they can tell you why its so screwy and why its changing as well

This is perfectly normal, There could be many reasons you are late, you could be stressed, not sleeping well, etc. I wouldn't think you are preg. Just wait, it will come!

As long as the penis is not inserted and penetrated inside your vagina, you can never get pregnant. Unless you did, a 100 per cent possibility that you will get pregnant.
