coming home to a clean house that i didn't have to do before i left for work. Just the same coming home to the house i cleaned just before i left for work. Add one hot cuppa coffee and some coffee cake and you have one very happy girl.

That is a very good question.....
Unfortunately, nothing mundane makes me happy....
I am not easily satisfied and am constantly seeking more extreme and challengin experiences to keep me happy in life....
I have jumped out of planes, base jumped off buildings, skiied off piste in an high risk avalanche area, fought against a professional kick boxer after only 3 months training, hiked through the himalayas without a guide......the list goes on.
As a result of this, small pleasures can no longer satisfy me. I need that extra hit, that bigger rush to keep me going.
Unfortunately a clean set of sheets will not do the trick.
I am not belittling that as I do remember a time when I used to be able to take pleasure from these things - a cup of tea in the morning, a can of beer in the evening, a nice walk in the country at the weekend.
That was when I was in my early twenties. Even though I felt pleasure from these things, I also felt like a beast in a cage raging to get out.
And so I did.

When I get to the freeway onramp and they aren't metered, I can just drive on without waiting in a line.
When someone I don't know at the market smiles at me and seems truly happy for some reason.
When I come out of the shower and a fresh, warm towel is there waiting for me.
It really doesn't take much to make me happy. I am a simple gal.

Definitely clean sheets but I really love to see them on the washing line first flapping in the wind. Also that 5 minutes I get between putting my last child to bed and falling asleep on the sofa!

I love doing my laundry, just having to put dirty cloths in the machine and have nice fresh smelling clean cloths out. Nice.
I sometimes love to bake something new, a desserts or something like on Sunday afternoon. The sun is warm and my kitchen lights ups its peaceful and quiet then and the lovely yummy aroma of something being baked...so good.

I would hardly call a cup of coffee mundane - it is actually a comfort zone for majority of people.
My 'joygasm' trigger would be a mug of warm water in the morning to help me wake up and feel refreshed.

Eating dinner alone and watching 90210! Usually my husband works nights so whenever this happens and I have nothing planned, I love coming home to a quiet house and eating and enjoying. It's great!!
