I had 2 c-sections and if it is the flap under the scar I am thinking of. I have honestly had no luck making it disappear. The doc did mention something about scar tissue and it would be there unless I got a tummy tuck to make it go away. Sorry, I hope someone has better advice for you than me.

I have had 4 c-sections, scar is up and down, looks like I have a 2nd butt in the front. I am on the South Beach Eating Plan and have lost 23 lbs. Unfortunately, only a little has come off the front. I was told that the muscles are shot and it will be very hard, if not impossible to flatten my tummy. I am just now starting resistence training. I will do it for a few months and if my tummy doesn't get flatter, I plan to have a tummy tuck. Sometimes all the right eating and exercise just doesn't help. If you want to change your eating and follow a successful eating plan, get the south beach book and read it. It is my bible and it has worked for me. Now I just need to concentrate on my belly. Good Luck.

That "flab of fat" is most likely loose skin that you will never be able to work off. I had 2 c-sections, and I never recovered after my first because I had twins. It sounds like you are really in shape; you may want to consult with a plastic surgeon about possibly having a tummy tuck. I had to have one after I had my 2nd c-section. It was the best thing I ever did!

OK its scar tissue hun.
The only way it will budge is with surgery.
Yes you can lose weight and it will not be as flabby... but you wil still have the skin fold.
I have had 5 c sects in 7 years (6kids incl twins)... and I wont ever have my pre baby body!
I weighed 94kgs (not sure of conversions) 5 weeks ago and by exercising and eating properly, I am down to 83kg with another 13 to go.
Cardio wise you would be fit as a fiddle but you need to do fat burning exercises.
I was eating in excess of 3000calories a day and now I struggle to eat 1800calories.
It is achievable hun.

It isn't a flap of fat it is skin that was stretched out from pregnancy. Skin is elastic only to a point and genetics determines how well it will bounce back to its original tightness. Muscles become lax- you can tighten them up to a certain degree with pilates and abdominal exercises, but really the only thing that will get rid of loose skin is surgical removal.

I have had 3 C-Sections. Just imagine my tummy flap. It seemed like even with all the excercise the bulge was still there. I lost all my weight I gained but, 10 pds. but, the bulge stayed with me thru it all. So if you find and answer let us all know.
