I think Marvin Harrison is not only the best receiver in the NFL, but he runss the best routes. If you ask any any cornerback, they'll tell you Marvin is the hardes to cover, because he makes his cuts at full speed, and is still deceptively fast. He has undoubtdetly some of the best hands, and a great work ethic.

Welker really cant be ellibile for this, he is usually in a 4-5 reciever set so the defense is spread out leaving all kinds of holes, which means that Welkers openess is heavily dependent on the O-line who gives Brady time to see the holes. Best route runner has to be either Fitzgerald or Colsten, Colsten put a beating on Revis when the saints played the Jets

I think Harrison or Holt are generally considered to be the best route runners in the NFL right now. Jerry Rice was no question the best ever.

Generally, guys who aren't quite as fast or large have to be pristine route runners to break away from faster corners.

Guys like Kevin Curtis, Donald Driver, and a few others are also regarded as tops in the league.

Yes Harrison is good but his speed is what gets him open for Manning, the best route runner to me is Anquain Boldin he is big and strong not very fast so he has to be very precise with his pattern

Your're right. It is Marvin Harrison. In that offense you have to be precise and quick for it to work

Torry Holt, THE BEST RECIEVER IN THE LEAGUE!!!!! He practices harder than anyone in the league and also runs the best routes outside of Jerry Rice in his prime.

Don't forget "ocho cinco". Despite his mouth Chad Johnson has to be right next to Marvin.
